Tilta Camera Cage for Blackmagic PYXIS 6 Base Kit

Mount accessories and add mounting options to your Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K cinema camera with the black Full Camera Cage from Tilta. The modular cage is made up of different components that can be added and removed as needed, including left/right side arm panels, a bottom plate, a top plate, and a side SSD plate that secure directly onto the camera. The components provide an integrated shoe mount, NATO rails, an ARRI-style rosette, 1/4″-20 threads, and 3/8″-16 anti-twist threads.

The multi-functional side SSD plate features a slot for an optional SSD measuring 2.05 to 2.36″ wide and 0.47″ thick, and a quick release lever allows you to lock and remove the drive quickly. A Manfrotto-type quick release dovetail plate is included for quickly mounting your camera, and it attaches using a thread on the bottom that is aligned with the optical center of your camera. The top plate is compatible with the original PYXIS top handle.

Integrate this black Tilta Xeno Top Handle into your camera cage configuration for improved low-angle shooting. The top handle secures to your cage via a NATO clamp. Multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads throughout the handle allow you to attach articulating arms, cable clamps, or other accessories. A single cold shoe slot accommodates a shotgun microphone or wireless transmitter. The handle’s silicone grip makes for an ergonomic and anti-slip handgrip.

This black Xeno Side Handle with NATO Mount from Tilta mounts securely on the right or left side of your camera cage, offering improved handheld stability thanks to its NATO rail clamp with a lever lock. It has a comfortable, nonslip silicone grip and can be adjusted vertically up to 1.6″ for optimal placement. The handle has one shoe mount and three anti-twist 1/4″-20 threads for mounting accessories and comes with a magnetic 3mm Allen key.
