Description
The Kiloview N50 12G-SDI/USB to NDI Bidirectional Converter supports NDI|HX and up to 12G-SDI encoding and decoding. A large scroll wheel and a color OLED screen enable you to easily view and adjust your parameters. Features like PoE and DC power, PTZ control, 3.5mm audio line in/out, multichannel audio, and intercom functions make the N50 Converter an excellent choice for professional IP-based video transmission.
Encoding/Decoding
When in the encoding mode, the N50 easily converts a 4K 12G-SDI video signal into an NDI and NDI|HX stream. In decoding mode, it automatically adapts the NDI and NDI|HX format as needed. The N50 encoder/decoder handles your NDI transmission easily with low latency of less than 80ms.
Pro Color Performance
The N50 supports the pro YCbCr 4:2:2 color space in both 8- and 10-bit color depth, providing higher color and image quality to match the high standards of the broadcast and medical industries.
LCD Screen & Scroll Wheel
- A large, 1.96″ LCD display enables you to check your status at any time and can be used as a large tally indicator.
- The scroll wheel provides source control, an on/off function, settings adjustments, and quick shortcuts.
USB Interfaces
USB-A and USB-C interfaces enable web camera input, PC USB video input, and control of a PTZ camera via a USB expansion.
Audio & Intercom
- The ND50 supports 12G-SDI embedded audio and analog encoding/decoding via a 3.5mm port.
- An intercom function is supported via USB for real-time communication between Kiloview device operators.
Serial PTZ Control
The N50 supports PTZ control through USB to serial RS-232/-485/-422 and adopts network control protocols (such as Sony VISCA/Pelco-D/Pelco-P) for external PTZ control.
SD Card Slot
Record your video directly to an SD card, preventing lost frames due to a network delay, interruption, or fluctuation.
Power Options
Power the N50 using the PoE function available on one of the two RJ45 Ethernet ports or via the 12 VDC barrel input.
